Austen believes that people have three main pillars in their lives: family, faith and finances, and his goal is to help alleviate stress surrounding the third pillar. As an advisor, Austen loves building relationships with the people he serves and creating financial plans that bring all the moving parts together, including investments, Social Security, annuities, estate planning, real estate and other alternative strategies.

Austen earned his bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from Northern Arizona University. He holds life and health insurance licenses and has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams.

Originally from the Southwest, Austen now calls Dallas home. He stays closely connected to his family in Scottsdale, Arizona, including his parents, older brother, younger sister and their families. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, playing basketball and exploring the outdoors on a hiking trail.
