Clay’s journey to the financial industry was fueled by curiosity and a desire to make a difference. He loves helping clients feel supported and become more confident as they plan for their financial future. He relies on a listening-first approach, taking the time to understand clients’ goals, priorities and concerns.

A conversation with a college professor before graduation pointed Clay in the direction of shadowing a family friend in financial advising, confirming this career was the right fit. He graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in business administration, concentrating in finance and business analytics.

A sixth-generation farmer from Orondo, Washington, Clay grew up harvesting cherries and apples on his family’s farm. He now lives in Seattle, where he shares his home with his dog, Jack, and two cats, Joe and Jeff. Outside of the office, Clay loves the outdoors and stays active by running, climbing and playing outdoor games like pickleball, golf and frisbee.
