Jordan’s interest in the financial world can be traced to his childhood when he would watch his grandpa trade stocks. That coupled with a curiosity to learn what triggered the 2008 financial crisis ignited his passion for making sure what happened to his family and friends doesn’t happen to others.

“What gets me up in the morning is getting to help that next family prepare for the rest of their life,” Jordan said.

Jordan joined Strategic Wealth Designers in 2014 following his graduation from Emory and Henry College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. Today he is a financial advisor who can offer investment and insurance products and services, as he holds his Series 65 and health and life insurance licenses.

Jordan’s unwavering commitment to comprehensive planning is complemented by his caring approach and quest for finding simple solutions. His primary advice to clients: “Watch out for how much risk you have in your portfolio. That can sink your retirement. Most people are carrying way more risk in their portfolio than what they are aware of.”

Jordan met his wife, Jean, during his freshman year in college in a mass communications class. “Instead of listening to the teacher, I would pass Jean notes and talk to her,” he said. The couple live in Dallas and are excited to welcome their baby girl, Ella, to the world in April. They also are proud owners of two Goldendoodles, best friends Enzo and Charles Pawl.

When he isn’t spending time with his family, walking his dogs or watching them play in the backyard, Jordan enjoys oil painting, riffing on the electric guitar and collecting vinyl records.
