When Julia joined the firm in 2022, she loved the supportive and collaborative environment. She quickly grew to love interacting with clients and getting to be part of their journey with Strategic Wealth Designers.

Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from East Carolina University. Before joining Strategic Wealth Designers, she spent seven years as the curriculum director of a child care facility. This role and her experience as a preschool teacher equipped her with strong leadership and team management skills. She believes in maintaining clear and open lines of communication, ensuring that clients always feel heard and understood.

Although her previous roles were rewarding, after several years, Julia was ready for a change. Joining SWD was an unexpected and surprising opportunity that she feels lucky to have found.

Julia is a dedicated runner in her free time, which is how she’s met many of her best friends and even her husband, Mark. She also is close with her family and enjoys spending quality time with them. Julia is a creative at heart, making polymer clay earrings to sell at local markets.
