Matt’s mission to provide sound financial guidance is deeply personal. His commitment is rooted in the challenging experience of watching his grandmother lose her financial security because of poor advice. As a result, she was forced to work into her 70s, sell her home and move in with family. Witnessing this hardship first-hand shaped Matt’s professional purpose.

“This profession gives me the chance to make a direct, positive impact on individuals and families,” Matt said, “and to protect what they’ve built and help them move forward with security and dignity.”

Matt graduated from Bellarmine University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He finds deep joy in transforming a client’s anxiety into confidence, providing them with a clear, trustworthy plan for their future. He is licensed to offer investment and insurance products and services.

Matt believes in reducing risk and downside exposure for those nearing or entering retirement. While a person’s working years are focused on growing assets, he says the focus should shift to protection as retirement approaches.

Matt lives in Jeffersonville, Indiana, with his wife, Ellie, who he describes as his closest teammate. They have two kids, Briar and Dean, and a family cat named Lola.

Outside of work, Matt and his family spend a lot of time at the pool. Matt is dedicated to keeping himself fit with a regular gym regimen. And even though he’s admittedly not great at golf, he still enjoys playing.
