Michael was inspired to join the industry by his brother, Rob, whose success in helping families plan their retirement profoundly impacted him. As a result of his experience with SWD, Michael’s best advice for those looking for financial guidance is to start saving sooner rather than later — yesterday is better than today, but today is better than tomorrow.

Before joining SWD, Michael honed his skills in retail bank management. His educational background includes an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Business Administration from McKendree College. Additionally, he holds a life and health insurance license.

Michael and his wife, Joanne, live in Louisville with their beloved Chiweenie, Moxie. They have two grown sons, Nicholas and Spencer, and recently entered their “empty nest” years. Outside of work, Michael loves traveling and spending quality time with his family and friends.
