Spencer’s parents taught him the importance of finances from an early age, from budgeting to saving for the important things. These lessons had a powerful impact, and from age 15, Spencer knew he wanted to be a financial planner and help others work toward their financial goals.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in 2021, Spencer took his first steps into the industry as a financial advisor at a broker-dealer in St. Louis. Now, Spencer uses his knowledge and skills in retirement income analysis to build out multiple retirement scenarios for his clients based on their needs and goals.

“Everyone’s goals and objectives change throughout the life of their retirement,” he says. “We make sure we’re adjusting their strategies as needed. It’s amazing getting to build genuine connections along the way.”

Spencer’s hands-on approach and attention to detail help his clients feel supported and confident in their financial future.

Spencer holds health and life, and annuity insurance licenses, and he has also passed the Series 7 and Series 66 securities exams. His best advice to clients is to maintain a balanced and diversified portfolio and avoid trying to time the market. In his view, financial stability in retirement is about long-term strategy, not short-term gains.

A sports enthusiast, Spencer loves to spend his free time cheering on his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues and L.A. Rams. He also enjoys golfing and traveling. His goal is to visit six of the seven continents (he’ll skip Antarctica).
