Veronica has always had a passion for economics, math, and investments, but her desire to make a difference in people’s lives is what led her to the financial services industry and, eventually, to her current position with Strategic Wealth Designers.

Her advice to clients as they plan for retirement? “People think of retirement as the end goal, the destination. It’s one part of a long journey and the beginning of a new adventure,” Veronica says. “Make sure you are prepared to enjoy your retirement, not just survive it.”

Veronica is a financial professional, with over 24 years of experience with wealth management,  who can offer a wide range of investment products and services for our clients.  She has her 66, 63, and life, health, and annuity licenses. Before joining the team at SWD, she enjoyed a diverse and enriching career path, including working as a financial planning consultant, product manager, fixed income and alternative investment specialist,  and team leader before transitioning to working as an independent advisor and ultimately ending up at Strategic Wealth Designers.

Attending classes in in business, with a focus on accounting,  at the University of Cincinnati and Palm Beach Atlantic University, Veronica has cultivated a wealth of knowledge, in addition to her work experience,  to better serve her clients. She’s particularly proud of her involvement in Women’s Worth Initiatives, empowering women with financial knowledge and enjoys teaching retirement planning classes at various colleges in Florida.

Away from work, Veronica’s life revolves around her faith and family. She’s a proud mother to three children — Devin, Alexandra, and Ashton — and a doting grandmother to two grandsons. Her family also consists of her beloved dog, Grey. Based in both Louisville, Kentucky and Delray Beach, Florida, she loves spending time with family and friends, running her ministry, serving in her community, watching sports and staying active, whether she’s hitting the gym, playing pickleball, traveling or trying her hand at golf.
